Hey — we're genuinely glad you're here. Whether this is your first time inside a church or you've just been looking for something that actually feels alive, Vertical was built for this moment. Pastor Marcus Reyes planted this church in Phoenix in 2015 with one conviction: that the gospel changes everything, and everybody deserves to encounter it for real.
When you walk through our doors, you're not going to feel like a stranger for long. People will be ready to meet you, the worship will move you, and the message will challenge you in the best way possible. First-time visitors tell us all the time — 'I can't believe that was a church service.' That's exactly what we're going for.

Your First Visit
Come as you are — seriously. You'll see everything from jeans and sneakers to business casual on any given Sunday. There's no dress code at Vertical, just show up.
We've got a dedicated kids ministry for birth through 5th grade with a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment your children will love. You'll check in together as a family when you arrive, and our team will walk you through the whole process.
Expect high-energy contemporary worship, bold and practical teaching from Pastor Marcus, and a room full of people who are genuinely engaged. The atmosphere is cinematic and vibrant — it'll feel unlike any church service you've experienced.
Services run about 60–75 minutes. You'll experience a full set of worship and a complete message — we move with intention and respect your time.
